Link-a-Trade offers advertising within Wickes stores whereby local independent businesses can promote their goods or services to thousands of local shoppers in their own area. As few people go far for their groceries your advertisement will purely target people in your immediate area.
Your service is offered by way of a business card-style advertisement detailing what you have to offer to a Wickes’ customer, and would typically include some sort of incentive for that shopper to come to you rather than go to your competitors. The cards are available in-store, through the dispenser which is usually located near the shopping checkouts or customer service area.
Our Maintenance Team visit each site every 15 working days to re-stock, maintain and clean the equipment giving you peace of mind that your advertisements are being checked on a regular basis.
The customer takes the card from the dispenser and instructions are placed on the back informing the customer of the need to bring the card to you in order to take up your offer of, for example, "10% off dry cleaning with this card.”
The customer presents the card to you as they take up the offer and you keep the card. You then have a simple way to monitor the scheme's progress - just count how many cards you've been given each week.
